Casting Privacy Notice

Spark TV LLC administers the Paranormal Date casting application and is responsible for the application information described in this notice.

This notice explains how we handle information for casting. Separate services, including Spark subscriptions and ParanormalDate.com, may have their own privacy notices.

Identity and contact information: name, email, telephone number if provided, date of birth, age and location.

Casting and dating information: relationship status, gender identity, dating interests, preferences, personality, hobbies, availability and ability to travel.

Personal experiences and application media: paranormal interests, beliefs and experiences you choose to describe; photographs, video and information contained in those materials.

Optional profile and referral information: social media handles, ParanormalDate.com username, how you heard about casting, and referral or campaign identifiers.

Application administration: acknowledgements, the versions of terms and privacy notice acknowledged and the time of acceptance, application status, correspondence, review notes and subscription-verification results.

Some answers may reveal sensitive information, including sexual orientation or religious or philosophical beliefs. Provide only what is relevant to casting, and avoid unnecessary sensitive details in open-text answers.

Our website and its technology providers may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, page activity, cookies and referral data, as described below.

Information comes directly from you; from your interactions with the website and casting team; from authorized reviewers’ notes; and from Spark’s subscription platform when we check whether the email address you supplied is associated with an eligible subscription.

Do not provide someone else’s private information unless necessary and appropriately authorized.

We use application information to receive, administer and evaluate applications; assess eligibility, casting suitability and potential compatibility within the proposed program; verify subscription eligibility and resolve verification problems; and contact applicants about applications and potential next steps.

We also use information to prevent impersonation, misuse and security incidents; respond to requests; maintain appropriate records; and meet legal obligations.

Providing application materials is not permission to publish them or use them in advertising or a program. Those uses require separate permission.

Application information may be accessed by Spark personnel and authorized casting and production representatives who need it for this casting process. This may include George Noory or his authorized production representatives where they are involved in casting review.

Service providers may process information for hosting, storage, application administration, subscription verification, security and communications. These include the application hosting and notification provider, Abacus.AI, and cloud storage providers.

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect legal rights or address fraud or safety concerns. If responsibility for the production or relevant business transfers, application information may transfer with it, subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.

Providing a ParanormalDate.com username does not itself authorize general access to that account or transfer of your application to that service for its own marketing.

The website includes Google advertising technology, Google Analytics integration and FirstPromoter affiliate technology. Depending on configuration and browser settings, these services can process IP addresses, device and browser information, page visits, cookie identifiers and referral data. Third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across other websites.

Affiliate information helps identify the source of a visit or subscription. Visiting a page may involve tracking even if you do not submit an application. Advertising-related disclosures may be treated as sharing or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws; they are distinct from the casting-review permissions you grant.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser and manage Google advertising preferences through Google’s My Ad Center. Blocking cookies may affect referral attribution or website functions. Browser Do Not Track signals do not currently change this application’s tracking behavior. This casting page does not currently provide an automatic Global Privacy Control opt-out mechanism. You can contact [email protected] about applicable opt-out rights; this does not itself disable third-party cookies already present in your browser.

Accepting the Casting Application Terms is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing or a waiver of privacy rights.

Retention is determined by the purpose and status of the record. Applications, answers and media may be retained while relevant casting is active and as reasonably necessary to administer related communications, respond to requests or disputes, and satisfy legal obligations.

We consider the sensitivity of the information, whether the application is still under consideration, and any legal preservation requirement. Acceptance records and correspondence may need to be retained separately from detailed answers and media to document the application process or address legal claims.

There is no automatic deletion deadline promised by this notice. You may request withdrawal or deletion at [email protected]. Copies in backups or records subject to legal preservation may remain for longer where permitted by law and should not be used for unrelated casting or marketing purposes.

You may contact [email protected] to withdraw, correct application information, request access to your information, or request deletion.

Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, sale or sharing, targeted advertising, or certain uses of sensitive information. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to reasonably verify your identity. Where applicable, an authorized agent may make a request for you with appropriate proof of authority. Certain information may be retained where legally permitted or required.

Withdrawing or deleting information necessary for casting may prevent us from continuing to consider your application. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

A casting-data request does not automatically cancel a subscription or delete information held by a separate service.

The application stores uploaded media in private cloud storage and provides time-limited access links through the authorized reviewer interface. Application administration is access-controlled. These measures do not guarantee that information can never be accessed or disclosed without authorization; no online system is completely secure. Please avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.

This is a United States-administered casting process. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate, which may have different privacy laws from those where you live. Applicable legal protections continue to apply.

This application is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We will post revisions with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law. A revised notice does not itself authorize an incompatible new use of previously collected information.
