Casting Application Terms

These Casting Application Terms govern applications submitted through Spark’s Paranormal Date casting page. The application process is administered by Spark TV LLC ("Spark," "we," "us").

These Terms apply to the casting application process only. They are not a participant agreement, filming release or authorization to broadcast your application materials.

You must be at least 18 years old, legally single and available to date to apply. You must submit your own application and provide information that is accurate and not misleading to the best of your knowledge.

Please tell us if information material to your eligibility changes while your application is under consideration. Spark may request reasonable verification of eligibility before progressing your application.

Do not impersonate another person, submit an application on someone else’s behalf without our express permission, or provide materials you do not have permission to submit.

Submitting an application, receiving an acknowledgement, holding a Spark subscription, participating in an interview or being shortlisted does not guarantee selection, a date, filming, compensation, an appearance in a program, or contact with George Noory.

Subject to applicable law, Spark and its authorized casting team make casting decisions based on production needs and casting considerations. They may decline an application, change the casting process, pause or cancel the proposed production, or decide not to proceed with an applicant. We are not obliged to contact every applicant, provide individual feedback or give reasons for a casting decision.

There is no guaranteed response time and you may not receive further contact. Any dates or production plans are provisional unless expressly confirmed in a separate written agreement.

An eligible active Spark subscription is required to be considered for casting on this show. An active trial qualifies while it remains eligible. Subscription status may be checked against the email address you provide and rechecked during the casting process. Saving an application while verification is pending does not make you eligible for consideration.

A subscription purchases access to Spark’s streaming service; it does not purchase a role, a guaranteed interview, preferential casting treatment or a meeting with George Noory. Do not purchase a subscription expecting any such outcome. There is no reserved casting place.

Subscription charges, renewals, cancellation and refunds are governed by the terms shown when you subscribe and by applicable law. These Casting Application Terms do not change those terms or limit any statutory cancellation or refund rights.

You retain ownership of the photographs, video, written answers and other materials you submit, to the extent you own them.

You grant Spark a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to receive, store, copy, display internally and make technical adaptations to those materials solely as reasonably necessary to administer and evaluate your application, conduct casting review, communicate with you, and maintain appropriate casting and legal records.

Spark may allow its authorized casting personnel, production partners and technical service providers to exercise this permission only for those purposes and subject to appropriate restrictions.

This permission does not authorize public posting, advertising, broadcast, sale of your likeness, or use of your materials to create an AI replica of your image or voice. Any such use would require separate permission.

This permission continues only for as long as the materials are appropriately retained for the purposes described in the Privacy Notice or as required by law.

Only submit media you own or have permission to provide for casting review. Avoid including identifiable third parties, particularly children, unless specifically requested and appropriately authorized.

Do not submit passwords, financial account details, government identification documents, medical records, intimate images, or unnecessary identifying information about other people. If describing a personal experience involving someone else, avoid names and details that are not necessary to understand your account.

Do not send unsolicited scripts, program formats, business proposals or materials you expect Spark to purchase or treat as a confidential creative submission. An application does not create an agreement to purchase or compensate you for an idea. Similarity between an application and independently developed material does not, by itself, establish misuse; this does not waive any intellectual-property rights you otherwise hold.

You authorize Spark and its authorized casting representatives to contact you using the details you provide about your application, eligibility verification, interviews and next steps. This permission does not by itself constitute consent to unrelated marketing or automated promotional calls or texts.

You may withdraw your application by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal ends consideration for this casting process but is not itself cancellation of a Spark subscription. Requests concerning application data are handled under the Privacy Notice.

George Noory’s association with the proposed program does not mean that he personally reviews each application, makes every casting decision, or undertakes to contact or select any applicant.

Neither George Noory nor any associated presenter, partner or representative makes a personal promise of casting, romantic compatibility, a successful relationship or any particular paranormal experience through this application process.

ParanormalDate.com and other separately operated services have their own terms and privacy practices. This application does not create an account with, or automatically authorize transfer of your application to, a separate dating service.

If invited to progress, you may be asked to complete interviews, provide additional eligibility information or consider separate agreements covering participation, filming, use of your image and voice, confidentiality, travel, compensation and other production matters.

These Terms do not authorize background checks that require separate notice or consent. They do not oblige you to accept a future participation agreement.

To the extent permitted by law, Spark and the protected parties identified below are not responsible for losses resulting solely from non-selection, cancellation or alteration of the proposed casting process, or expenses you voluntarily incur without prior written approval.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the application system. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or privacy right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

For this section and the sections concerning non-selection and George Noory’s role, the protected parties are George Noory, Spark’s authorized production and casting partners, and their respective officers, employees and representatives acting in connection with this casting process. Those parties are intended third-party beneficiaries of those protections. These Terms do not create a general release of claims against them.

California law governs these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing here removes mandatory rights available to you where you live.

Changes will be identified by an updated effective date. Material changes to permissions for existing application materials will not apply retroactively without any notice or consent required by law.
